Okay, so last night at approximately 7:30, my computer crashed. :’(

(Yes, very aggravating)

Anyways, I promised a few people that I would speak to them over AIM, but wasn’t able to because of the crash. So sorry if I wasn’t on, my computer is pretty lame.

Problem: My computer is TOTALLY crashed, according to a friend of mine, and I may not be on for a good long while.

Solution: My friend Julie has graciously let me use her computer for the time being to do my assignments and stuff. Of course, she doesn’t know I snuck on to DA to post this, but whatever.

Worse Problem: Still, I will not be putting much artwork up as a result of my current situation. However, I will keep drawing and will post more work when I return.

This brings me to my next point: “Ms. K’s Classroom!”

As most of you know, I have been writing a story called “The Art of Expansion” for quite some time. So, I’ve decided to create a drawing that shows Ms. K and all of her students. I would like to thank shap7896 for the idea! It will be a nice thing to end the story with I think. Anyways, I want you guys to tell me if you want to be in it!

Requirements:

If you want to get in the group picture, you’ll need these things.

If you don’t provide either of these things, sorry, but you can’t be in. ALSO: I cannot have a million people in the picture, so it will be first come-first serve thing. Hello Everybody!

So, here I am again friends. I know it’s been quite a while since I posted, and I’m pretty sure most people were getting tired of reading about my love-life (or lack-thereof). Anyways, now I’m back in business and ready put into place some rules and topics of interest.


First, I am re-opening requests (but don’t get too excited kiddies). I have a few new rules about requests, that include:


1. I will draw a wide variety of things, things I will NOT draw are: Vore, Furries, Anything that involves self-mutilation, and anything else that I find gross or unpleasant. Sorry, but you just have to deal with it. Regarding “Anime” requests, I may or may not do them (depending on which anime it is).

2. I am only allowing 1 request per person. Last time I took requests, I had so many that I was overwhelmed with them. I probably even lost most of them. So this time, let’s make it easy for everyone and take it one at a time, okay?

3. Same basic issue applies, when you request something, expect that it will take some time to complete. Sometimes I get swamped with school work and don’t have time to finish 10 drawings (it happens to the best of us).

4. When you request something, please send it to me through a note, and NOT on my comment board. In fact, for those of you with E-mail, I would really appreciate it if you could send your requests to my address: heavyweightkate@yahoo.com. Again, it would really make it easier on me.

Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to readdress my intolerance for hate-comments. I’m pretty sick of people saying I’m a freak for drawing what I draw. So please, from one deviant to another, just leave the angry comments to yourself.

I really hope nobody takes any offence to these rules. As I’ve said over and over, I’m not trying to be mean or anything, it’s just sometimes being a deviant is difficult when a million-and-one people are requesting pictures.

Lastly, I’d like to thank everyone on the DA for all their ongoing support. It’s so great and I love each and every one of you. Thank You!

Hello Everybody,

I feel that I must explain my recent absence from Deviantart. I have noticed that some of you have expressed your concern. Let me say that I am in good health and that I am not dead or anything like that.

In truth, my absence has been due to a recent relationship problem. I realize this may not sound very significant, but allow me to explain.

A couple weeks ago I met a girl. I will not say her name, but instead I will describe her. She was, to put it quite simply, beautiful. And it wasn't your typical beauty either. As I have mentioned many times before, I am a bi-FA, which means I take a particular liking to chubbier girls. She was in my new government class, which I had recently transferred to after I left my journalism class. She had raven black hair and wore alot of eyeshadow (a bit too much in my opinion, but whatever). Normally, I wouldn't have gone for those types of girls, because I try to avoid "problematic relationships". But in this case, I took an interest in her and sat in a desk across from her.

After many days of waiting and watching, I took the opportunity to introduce myself. It wasn't really until that moment that I took the time to appreciate her other features. She had a gorgeous figure (to say the least). She had a shapely figure, a little chubbier than myself, but not by much. Most of her weight was around her waist, as most "bigger" girls are.

As it turned out, she and I had alot in common, except maybe for some music disagreements. Best of all, she was bi, to which I had to say "SCORE!" Before long, we started dating. It wasn't very serious at first, only taking trips to the mall together and what not. But one night, after we saw "Pirates of the Caribbean 3" (which was quite an excellent movie), I drove her home and well...we had our first kiss.

It was as good as any first kiss I suppose, but the fact that it was with her made it all the more exciting.

The end of this story happened about 3 days after that, when she called me over the phone. She basically told me that she was going through a difficult time in her life, although she wouldn't tell me what it was. Then she told me that she couldn't see me anymore...yada yada yada...then we broke up. I haven't talked to her much since, except for a few passing "hello" or "hey".

It's not like I'm a stranger to heartbreak and breakups, but after we broke up, I went through a weird phase. It wasn't depression, but it was more like a feeling of loss. The fact that she was gone just was unbelievable, and although I was acting as normal as ever, I felt horrible. It was almost like I expected her to call and say that it wasn't true.

The point of this little portal into my love life is to tell you that what people say is all too true. You don't know what you've got until it's gone.

These past few weeks have indeed been rough. Because of this, I have decided to take a little break from drawing. I have deleted all previous requests, and will not be taking anymore for a little while. This is in no way meant to be a punishment to anyone. It is just a little way of transitioning back to normal. I will, however, be online and on AIM still. If you wish to talk to me on either, you are quite welcome to.

I hate to say it...but I have too many requests!

So, to give myself some time to catch up, I've decided to close requests for a little while. This is not permanent, so keep that in mind. I just need a little time to gather myself up. It's gotten to the point where I can't remember who requested what! So when I post your request on my page and I say something like, "I forgot who requested this," please don't be offended, just tell me in a comment/note and I'll quickly fix it. Anyways, I will post another notice when I'm back on track and at that point you can submit any request(s) you want.

Hi everyone.

I would first like to thank everybody for all the support. Seriously, your comments, faves, suggestions, love, they all really mean alot to me. I never would've dreamed that I would make this many friends on the DA.

Second, I feel that I am obligated to inform you all about my standards when it comes to requests:

1) I am open to requests (obviously).

2) I am pretty much open to anything you want me to draw, but if I find the content of the request to be offensive or otherwise, I will not draw it...sorry.

3) If you request a drawing by me, please expect that it might take a little while for me to complete it. I am presently working on a number of requests, so I will ask that you please be patient.

On a different note, I have recently recieved a few hate-comments on my work. I must insist that nobody leave ANY negative comments. It is both childish and disrespectful and I will not tolerate it. I love drawing wg pics, so if you're some DP fan with a grudge against fat people you're gonna have to take it somewhere else. It's just artwork people, get a grip.

Finally, I would like to say that I have established an AIM screen name and I would very much like to get to know everybody. It's Heavyweightkate, so come chat with me sometime lovelies. Also, I am in the process of making a Myspace page as well, so I will inform you when that's up.
